Siel Chemical Complex (SCC) is a leading Chlor Alkali
manufacturer in North India. It manufactures Caustic Soda (Flakes
& Lye), Hydrochloric Acid, Stable Bleaching Power, Sodium
Hypochlorite, Hydrogen and Liquid Chlorine. SCC is located in an
Industrial Estate in Charatrampur, near Village,Khadauli/Sadargarh,
Rajpura, District Patiala, Punjab. It has proximity to markets and
is catering to the ever-growing requirement of agri-based paper and
textile businesses. SCC has an installed capacity of 250 TPD
of Caustic soda lye production with a provision to convert 100 TPD
into Flakes. The quality of Flakes is amongst the best
available.
The manufacturing process is based on the environment friendly
Membrane Cell Technology acquired from Ineos Chlor Enterprises
Limited, U.K ('erstwhile ICI'). The technology involved consists of
fine control of all process parameters, ensured through the
sophisticated Distributed Control System (DCS). Safe operation is
an integral part of the DCS. SCC has laid down dedicated pipeline
to supply liquid chlorine as well as hydrogen to nearby Chlorinated
Paraffin Wax (CPW) units and hydrogen bottling plant set up in the
Siel Industrial Estate Ltd by the independent manufacturers. All
the products manufactured, conform to BIS standards. The Company is
ISO 9001-2000 certified for the manufacture and supply of Stable
Bleaching Powder. Environment Management System of the Chemical
Complex has been certified by DNV as per ISO14001:2004.
